Blue Cross & Blue Shield Case Study
The Project:
In 2018, Western Builders in Amarillo, Texas, trusted Aztec Mechanical with a full HVAC system replacement as part of a major roof project for Blue Cross Blue Shield. The work included replacing twenty-three packaged units, ranging from 4 to 15 tons, and updating the building’s control system.
What made this project stand out was the timeline. We had only 30 days to complete the entire job, and the building needed to open for business every morning without interruption. That meant our team worked through the night, removing and installing each unit and making sure the system was fully operational again before employees arrived the next day.
To deliver on that promise, all trades had to work together, including electricians, roofers, crane operators, and our own crew. Our experienced project managers kept everyone aligned, maintained clear communication, and ensured no detail was overlooked.
